Therapist Role
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and autism are both general terms for a group of complex disorders of brain development. These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors.
My services will focus on developmentally appropriate individualized skills training and support to foster, promote and enhance child engagement in daily activities, functional independence and social interaction.
My service, will provides direct instruction to the parent or family member and their child to promote the child’s acquisition of skills in a variety of developmental areas.
My role will be to collaborate with a child’s parents and caregivers. I will meet your individual child’s developmental needs. I want to help your child develop age appropriate play skills and meet milestones.
